AI 1000: Growth through AI

Our new service concept, AI 1000: Growth through AI, developed in collaboration with our partners, brings the opportunities of artificial intelligence directly to the core of executive-level strategic thinking. The goal is to train 1,000 owners, board members, and executive teams, and to ignite 1,000 ambitious AI initiatives across the Finnish business landscape within the next year.

The AI 1000 initiative accelerates the adoption of artificial intelligence in Finnish companies through education, promoting competitiveness, exports, and growth. AI is often perceived solely as an IT matter, which slows down its adoption and limits its impact. Few boards examine the strategic potential of AI, even though leadership teams hold the holistic perspective and financial interest needed to harness it effectively. What truly matters is identifying the business challenge AI can help solve—whether it’s autonomous systems, sales digitalization, or a transition to service-based business models.

The training program consists of:

A two-hour empowering and insightful session, after which the executive team gains a solid understanding of how AI can be leveraged across different areas of their business.

An eye-opening interim assignment that helps participants identify new AI-driven growth opportunities within their business operations and customer interface.

A four-hour transformative workshop, bringing together the board, executive leadership, and potential investors/owners to co-develop 1–2 disruptive AI concepts tailored to their business—complete with implementation roadmaps.

The event will present concrete next steps for joining the initiative, as well as an inspiring keynote speech: “Free labor available—who will act first?” by Ville Voipio, Chair of the Board (Technology Industries of Finland, Vaisala), professional board member, Professor of Practice at the Turku School of Economics, and board member of the Climate Leadership Coalition (CLC).
