AI 1000: Growth through AI

Our new service concept, AI 1000: Growth through AI, developed in collaboration with our partners, brings the opportunities of artificial intelligence directly to the core of executive-level strategic thinking. The goal is to train 1,000 owners, board members, and executive teams, and to ignite 1,000 ambitious AI initiatives across the Finnish business landscape within the next year.

The AI 1000 is a national initiative designed to fast-track AI adoption in Finnish companies through targeted executive education—supporting competitiveness, export growth, and business transformation. Artificial intelligence is often seen as the domain of IT, limiting its strategic potential and impact. Few boards actively explore AI’s business value, even though leadership holds the broadest view of the organization—and the strongest financial interest in harnessing its benefits.

At the heart of the program is this simple principle: AI must solve a real business challenge—whether it’s enabling autonomous systems, digitizing sales, or transitioning to service-based business models.

The AI 1000 program is a true collaborative effort across Finland’s tech sector. The curriculum has been crafted in close cooperation with the country’s leading AI experts and refined into a focused, high-impact training format. The sessions are delivered by dozens of certified IT service providers from the AI Finland network, and the full program is facilitated and coordinated by AI Finland.

During the training, participants are introduced to AI technologies in language tailored for business leaders. They assess critical needs and challenges within their own operating environment, which are then translated into AI-driven solutions and prioritized based on business value.
