AI Finland’s new concept bridges academic research and practical development. Through this initiative, you can invite an AI researcher to your company for a one-day company visit to explore how academic research could support and accelerate your organization’s AI ambitions.

The Concept

Selected researchers visit AI Finland member organizations for one-day company visits. The purpose of the visit is to build a deep understanding of the organization’s business environment, data, current AI use cases, and development needs.

During the visit, researchers interview key stakeholders and present relevant AI-related research. By combining the organization’s needs with the capabilities of academic research, concrete challenges and opportunities can be identified where research can offer new solutions.

The outcome of the visit is a clear proposal outlining potential areas for collaboration. These may lead to joint research projects, thesis work, or pilot projects that accelerate the adoption and development of AI.
